On June 15, 2009 the Haifa Foundation celebrated its 25th Anniversary at The Auditorium, Carmel Center in Haifa.

The Auditorium was full of Haifa citizens, among them many youngsters, soldiers and donors from Haifa and abroad.

Top singer Idan Reichel and his group gave a wonderful performance. All proceeds from the gala evening will be dedicated to the renovation of a sports court at Neve Yossef neighborhood.

 

The new beautiful Hecht Park is open to the public.

 

Renovation of Tel Chai school library has been completed.

 

A new computer lab was recently installed at The Emerich Ressler Memorial Youth Center  For Ethiopian youth.

 

Bat-Zion (Batzi) Susskind – Sacks was appointed as U.K. Executive Director of our British friends of The Haifa Foundation.

 

A new computer lab was recently installed at Charna House, youth club, Kiryat Chaim, .

 

A special social worker was hired to assist children at Kiryat Sprintzak (Lotem Home).

 

54 Arab students have received scholarships at the annual ceremony held at Haifa City Hall.

 

Renovation of the Hugim High school library and the chemistry lab have been completed.

 

New podiums for the Haifa Symphony Orchestra are on their way from the U.S.

 

Air conditioners were installed at Youval Center for music and orchestras for the youngsters in Haifa.

 

A special teacher was hired for Kiryat Chaim children at risk center.
